This continues the sword form instruction and introduces a new category; hand form drills. These drills help in getting many repetitions of a movement or sequence in rapid order. You can use them to experiment with nuances and also practice mirror form.

Sabre Form: “01 Ready style to Brush knee twist step”: With this video, we start a new chapter, the sabre form. The first few movements are not that difficult to learn as they resemble the hand form so much. I show in detail where the differences are and why.
Sabre applications: Beginning style 1-2: This video shows two applications for the first movement in the sabre form. In many ways, they are opposites: one is hard, the other soft. One is meant to incapacitate the opponent, the other only to get him out of your way so you can escape.
